Not able to manage anger?
Not able to concentrate on work?
Struggling with anxiety?
Can’t control restlessness?
Get irritated quickly?
This might be happening with you — or with your child.
Instead of asking “Why is this happening?”,
let’s shift to “How can we manage it?”
How can we channelise the energy that is being wasted by these small, momentary mental storms?
Most of these reactions are not permanent. They are just passing clouds.
Here is a simple yet powerful exercise.
Practice it yourself, then teach it to your child.
🧘♂️ The "One-Thought Mind" Exercise (Positive Samadhi)
1. Lift both your hands in front of your chest, just like the Namaste position.
2. Now separate both palms by 5–6 inches.
3. With your right hand, start counting fingers using the thumb from index → pinky.
4. With your left hand, do the reverse: pinky → index.
5. Count together at the same time same speed from both hands maintaining the reverse sequence of counting .
6. Try it first with closed eyes, then with open eyes.
7. Gradually increase your speed — aim for 20 counts in 1 minute.
8. After that take a rest for 1 minute , back to rest position ,whichever you feel comfortable without any thought.
Now ask yourself…
While you were doing this:
Did anger exist?
Did anxiety trouble you?
Was irritation present?
Or…
Was your mind holding only one thought — counting?
That "one-thought state" is what I call:
“Positive Samadhi”
A moment of absolute inner peace.
A silence untouched by the outer world.
A stillness that cannot be described — only experienced.
For those few moments, the mind becomes one-pointed.
And in that state lies eternal bliss.
